Habitual use will cause lazy bowel syndrome. Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Overdose can lead to painful stomach cramps and diarrhea. It can be corrected with 1/4 amount of a stomachic herb like ginger or fennel seeds with the dose. May cause contact dermatitis. Can cause nausea, vomiting, and may lead to inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract.
